The Department of Electronics and IT (DeitY) has once again confirmed its support to EFY Expo 2016. Expect more updates shortly, on what all services will be provided at EFY Expo 2016 for you to gain a better understanding of government policies.

For the first time in its history, EFY Expo has shifted to south India (Bengaluru). We realised that while north India was playing host to three major events every two years, south India had only one event. Thus, to balance the demand-supply gap, it’s been decided to alternate EFY Expo between Bangalore and Delhi every year.

With a total of 6 electronics-related events being held together (including EFY Expo), the combined event has been named as India Electronics Week (IEW). The other 5 events that are co-located with EFY Expo are: LEDasia.in, IoTshow.in, Electronics Rocks, Test & Measurement India, and Raksha India.

INVEST IN INDIA: THEME FOR 2016
|
The theme for EFY Expo 2016 is “Invest in India”. Through this theme, we aim to drive investments in manufacturing and the design of electronics products in India. Our mission is to promote “Create in India” by driving “Make in India” along with “Design in India”. This theme will be reflected through various activities happening at the Expo. This will also be the theme for the ELCINA CEO Summit, which will be held on the 1st day of the show (11th January).

ELCOMA—the apex body of lighting manufacturers in India—has partnered with EFY to drive the co-located show: LEDasia.in. Besides promoting visitor footfalls and encouraging its members to exhibit, ELCOMA is organising a day-long Summit where thought-leaders from the Industry, the Government and large institutional buyers will come together and discuss the roadmap ahead.

Taiwan’s leading trade promotion organisation (TAITRA) has become a partner of India Electronics Week. TAITRA will not only be promoting exhibition sales of IEW amongst Taiwanese organisations, but is also bringing a trade delegation. Through this alliance, we expect a stronger participation from Taiwan across all shows at India Electronics Week
