OSI is back to enrich the open source world again!

 The thirteenth edition of Open Source India (OSI Days), Asia’s most prominent conference on open source software, is back. Once again, it is all set to bring the community and the industry under one roof, to explore the latest tools and techniques and to keep up with the pace of the ever-evolving world of open source. It’s festival time for open source enthusiasts, as these are the days for them to imagine, discuss and thrash out innovative ideas involving open source technology and this is the platform where like-minded techies collaborate with great passion and integrity towards the OS community.

The thirteenth edition of Open Source India, popularly known as OSI-D, is going to take place on October 21 and 22 at NIMHANS Convention Center, Bengaluru. OSI-Days, 2016: Over the two days, more than over 65 industry and community experts will cover various facets of open source technology including cloud, Big Data, database, mobile app development, Web app development, IT infrastructure, as well as the latest buzzword — IoT. The will also be a session for IT implementers to come and share their success stories with open source implementations at their respective organizations. In short there will be more than eight workshops for IT developers and implementers (these have limited seats and can be availed on a first-come, first-serve basis). All in all, awareness and information will flow with every interaction at OSI 2016.

The brilliant and eminent speakers at OSI 2016 includes the likes of Andrew Aitken (GM and global open source practice leader, Wipro Technologies), Balaji Kesavaraj (director- platform strategy, Microsoft), Anant Kumar (head of product engineering, Bharti Airtel), Bruno Lowagie (CTO, iText Software), Debabrata Nayak(additional. director at NeGD, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, Government of India) and Atul Saini (CTO and CEO, Fiorano Software).
