Electronics Rocks 2012 to be Held on 30 and 31 August in Bengaluru, Targets Engineers From the System Design and Chip Design Community
Bengaluru is home to India’s electronics design community and is a global destination for people in this domain. This, coupled with the encouraging feedback received at the 2011 and 2012 editions of EFY’s ‘Design Engineers Conference’ (which were held at New Delhi, as part of the EFY Expo), motivated the group to organise a much larger event at Bengaluru.
Named ‘Electronics Rocks 2012′ to reflect the exciting opportunities that electronics design presents, this conference-cum-exhibition will be a two-day affair. It will be held on August 30 and 31, 2012, at the NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bengaluru.
‘Electronics Rocks’ aims to create the most exciting platform for India’s electronics design community to converge at. The event will feature keynote addresses, star speakers, technical tracks, workshops, an expo, innovation demos et al. Dedicated tracks on circuit design (a.k.a. systems design or board design) will run in parallel. Additionally, there will be a number of hands-on workshops.
“We have been organising the EFY’s Design Engineers’ Conference as part of Electronics For You Expo since 2011. But the scale for the Bengaluru event is much bigger and goes beyond ‘System Design’ (or Circuit Design) which was the main focus of the earlier Design Engineers’Conference. Our aim is to compel every electronics design engineer to be a part of this unique event,” shared Ramesh Chopra , Founder and Editor of Electronics For You.
